I knew I wanted to be an architect before I knew what the word meant. I grew up watching my father run his architecture firm — the way he listened to people, earned their trust, and then delivered on every promise he made. That's what I thought architecture was supposed to be.

It still is.

I've spent my career designing complex healthcare facilities — surgery centers, medical office buildings, hospital additions — work that demands precision, accountability, and the ability to guide clients through high-stakes decisions with clarity and calm. It taught me something that applies to every project, regardless of scale: the quality of the relationship determines the quality of the outcome.
 

Most architects can design a house. Most can produce drawings. What's harder to find is someone who listens before they design, communicates without being asked, and does exactly what they say they're going to do. My father built his practice on that. I'm building mine on it too.
